It was great to see so many of you at the ice cream social.  Everyone seemed to have a great time.  I hope it helped your children to see so many faces of people they will be going to school with.

Well here we are again -- the first day of school.  How can summer possibly pass by so quickly?  As I got out of bed this morning at 5:30 and stumbled into the kitchen my body went into robot mode as if summer had never happened.  Packing lunches, making breakfast, etc.  I am saying an extra prayer for you kindergarten moms this morning as you send your little one off to school.  The first one was not so hard but when the last one left for kindergarten I knew it wouldn't be long until today would come and he'd be in 5th grade.  Time flies so quickly.  I sneak in a hug and a kiss at every opportunity saving them for later just in case my almost 13 year old and 10 year old decide parental affection is not so cool. 

If I could ask you to do one thing for your child pray for him/her as you send them out the door.  Pray for their teachers and administrators.  Pray for SBA and our building project.  God has been so faithful to provide all that we have debt free!!  We are confident that His provision will continue as we seek His perfect will.  There are so many ways that you can get involved at SBA.  We need prayerful hearts, working hands, able feet, and loving arms.  Ask God to lead you in a way that you can contribute to your child's education as we partner together at SBA.
