Welcome to SBA Upper School

“People go farther than they thought they could

when someone else thinks they can.”

John Maxwell

SBA is a place where we believe that students can develop Christ-like character, receive an excellent education, and be equipped for a successful life that will impact their culture for Christ.  The middle school is dedicated to leading our students to Christ and then coming along side them in the process of growing in their relationship with Him.  We also believe that middle school students have unique characteristics and behaviors that make the middle school experience different from any other.  The students, parents and teachers must partner together to make this experience one that is meaningful and honors Christ.

Thank you for your interest in the Middle School at Silverdale Baptist Academy.  We believe that education is a life that is experienced and we will strive to provide for them a full curriculum which will wet their appetite for knowledge.  We also believe that education is an atmosphere that respects the student as an Image bearer of God.  We expect them to think, learn and act in accordance with that truth.  Developing the character of our students is done thoughtfully and intentionally.  We want to equip them to become a godly warrior so that when they leave SBA they are equipped to succeed and thrive while impacting their culture for Christ.  This character building is done through helping develop habits that are formed in their mind and in their body.  Finally, we believe that education is a science of relations that is natural and is created with things, thoughts and people around us.  Our goal is to give the SBA student an opportunity to see that relationship and experience it through nature, art, science and living books.

The teachers in the middle school are specifically called to work with pre-adolescent students.  They understand the psychology and physiology of a middle school student.  They are dedicated to them and dedicated to our parents as together they help the student’s soar through this phase of their life.

Thank you for your interest in Silverdale Baptist Academy.  We are constantly seeking God’s guidance as we work to educate our students in an excellent way while continuing to have a ‘culture of improvement.’

Serving Him,

Roslyn McCoy
