Hello Students and Parents,
It's time for all seniors to sign up for either the SAT or ACT or both. Some students do better on the ACT and others do better on the SAT, so we suggest that if you are not happy with your first test score, try the other test. Unless you are happy with your test score, keep trying to raise it. Colleges will always use your highest score when considering acceptance and scholarships.
Also juniors should take the test at least once this fall and once in early spring. Sophomores, it's not too early for you to take the test and get an idea of your strengths and weaknesses while there is time for improvement. Also, if you plan to take Dual Enrollment classes next year, you must have a qualifying score on file by April. Remember, the higher the test score, the higher the scholarship offers and the more options you have for school choices.
Here are the ACT test dates: Register by going to: www.act.org
