WELCOME TO SBA'S COUNSELING DEPARTMENT!
The Counseling Department of SBA is excited about the areas that we are going to be developing this year! We now have two counselors available to serve our families. Mickey Hammel, our Dean of Counseling, and Upper School Bible teacher is available a portion of each day to meet with upper school students. Susan Whited, our school counselor, is available throughout each day to meet with parents and students grades K-12. Mr. Hammel and Mrs. Whited deal with relational, behavioral, and spiritual needs. In the areas of Guidance, Brenda Rayburn and Phyllis McCoy serve our students in testing, scheduling, and academic requirements.
Throughout the year we will be adding many helpful articles, parenting tips and web links. Please make it a habit to check us out and to give us your feedback in any area. We would like to know the areas of interest that you would like us to explore. Have a blessed day!
